Life of a photojournalist, is a life of struggles and compromises. You have to have a sixth sense of where the action will be, and then you get one chance to forever document the moment, or lose it all together.
It is a battle where you have to win every day, at every assignment. However, every picture is not a win, in fact, we fail more times than we succeed. This weekend I was in Holton, Kansas, covering a high school football game. Sometimes you do everything right, and just lose. Here is an example of being in the right place, right time, and sometimes the elements surrounding your shoot, just get in the way.
